Bahama Mama – Picture Perfect

I am SO dragging out my posting on this vacation because it’s trying to get cold here in Texas and I am not here for it. The boots and coats have been pulled out but my mind it’s still in the Caribbean. I guess I must move on though so I can get started 2019 trip planning. But first take a quick trip with me down memory lane to what I wore on vacation.

Sunshine, Sea and Shirts

Hi my name is Patience and I am a sucker for graphic Tees. This cute shirt was one I found in men’s section at Walmart. The tie dye color sold me! It matched my hot pink toes and was perfect for a casual look on sea day.

(I didnt get a good picture in the other one but let’s just say it included pastels and unicorns lol)

Formal Night

I bought this dress at Forever 21. I wanted something that was simple yet dressy and I was not trying to spend much money. I was worried because it was final sale and I purchased online. Luckily it worked out. Honesty moment: I wasnt a fan when I first tried it on. The middle split was A LOT and I wasnt feeling it. Then the ruching in the middle emphasized my stomach rather than camouflage. But I wasnt going to buy anything else. At the end of the day I got my shots and enjoyed an elegant dinner with my friends.

Beach Please

Now I purchased this suit months prior to my trip, way before summer hit. Although I frequented the pool this past summer, I just never brought myself to put the two piece on. I dont know what it was. Its not too revealing and at most angles you cant even tell its separates. But I was determine to pack my suit and wear it on this trip. And wear it I did. As soon I we arrived to the beach and I looked around I just felt…free. I didnt care what people would say or think. Only how I would feel.

I spent the afternoon frolicking the beach with my girls catching that nice tan that I brought back home with me as a reminder of wonderful memories made.

I am so glad I took this trip. Below are a few more pics of me, my crew and other outfits I wore. Traveling more is definitely on my 2019 goals list!
